Role Description:

• Define strategies at the intersection of business, technology and function.

Accenture SCM professionals’ help clients develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, procurement, product design, manufacturing and fulfillment functions within an organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chain.

Specifically Supply Chain Planning professionals concentrate on developing and implementing integrated supply and demand planning strategies that improve cost efficiency, increase business effectiveness and create synergies and collaboration across companies.

Key responsibilities may include:

Functional responsibilities

·             Analyze the business needs 

·             Document requirements, create functional specifications and prepare wireframes/flowcharts

·             Oversee the configuration of the product as per the specifications

·             Validate the functionality of the end product according to the requirement specifications

Technical responsibilities

·             Understand and apply a SC technology platform (e.g. o9) to solve business requirements.

·             Document & translate business requirements to configuration specs 

·             Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in consulting.

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in the area of Integrated Planning, S&OP, Demand planning and Supply Planning ideally in manufacturing environments

• Experience with planning tools like: JDA, SAP APO, SAP HANA, Kinaxis, E2Open, Icon, Toolgroups, SAS, InvOpt or TXT among others.

• Overall knowledge of Supply Chain

• Ability to conduct workshops, gather requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, design to-be solution, design configuration rationale and create functional designs.

• S&OP implementation experience required. Exposure to Supply Chain Control Tower concepts preferred.

Professional Skill Requirements:

·       Good understanding of planning solutions, SAP IBP / APO or similar. Ideally with background on a planning tool implementation willing to develop in management consulting.

·       Knowledge in supply chain planning.

• High level of mobility: willing to travel up to 100% of the time at any worldwide location

• High level of flexibility: to explore other Supply Chain areas and functional projects not limited to Supply Chain Planning

Education:

• Bachelor or MD degree required

• High level of English is mandatory

• Post-graduate education preferred (MBA, PMP, Lean Six Sigma)
