Description

HP is committed to relentlessly push the envelope of quality, productivity, and cost for parts produced by Multi-Jet Fusion and Metal Jet technologies.  As the traditional manufacturing industry continues to be disrupted by the improvements HP is bringing to the market, there is a need for SW to provide the detailed process controls and management required for manufacturing excellence.  In this position, you will be responsible to lead all software programs related to unlocking the power of our machine process data and control systems.  You will bring a technical background in either program or product management, along with a strong history of delivering innovative SW/HW programs to internal and external stakeholders.  This position requires coordination of a truly multi-disciplinary team, and you have the ability to communicate effectively to team members across a wide variety of backgrounds.  We need someone who is flexible and can respond quickly, energetically, and enthusiastically to changes.  You will interact with software engineering teams plus hardware engineering, firmware, marketing, manufacturing, and other resources inside and outside of HP to create truly extraordinary software experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the evolution and delivery of our software programs supporting process control and manufacturing data systems
• Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans that meet targets for SW, HW, material, and industry partner goals
• Communicate development milestones, project schedules and status updates and drive alignment across the organization and between teams
• Synthesize complex program data into a clear story and communicate to partners and organizations at all levels
• Organize and lead regular status meetings for stakeholders at all levels of the company (entry level to executive)
• Be a champion of teamwork and collaboration

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
• PMP/PMI certification preferred
• Minimum 6-10 year’s experience in technical program or product management
• A strong background in manufacturing technology or data systems is highly desired.

Knowledge and Skills

• Extensive experience with using project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
• Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels.
