Role Description

As a Supply Chain Omnichannel Fulfillment professional, you will help clients define and deliver strategies across channels to choose the most cost-effective fulfillment process for each order and/or improve customer satisfaction through increased convenience (e.g. ultra-fast deliveries). Typical omnichannel flow paths include:

·       Order online/deliver to customer (from DC or 3PL)

·       Order online/pick up at store

·       Order online/pick up at collection point (pick up station, post outlet or locker)

·       Order online/deliver from store

·       Order online/return to store

·       Select and pickup at store

Purpose of Job:

The Supply Chain Fulfillment practice focuses on aligning and synchronizing order fulfillment functions, starting with demand planning and stretching through operations planning and physical fulfillment operations. We also aim to align and synchronize upstream vendor supply chains, downstream ordering & inventory management processes, transportation & distribution capabilities, product allocation, and reverse logistics operations. With the rise of eCommerce and shift of consumer ordering towards online/mobile, clients are demanding guidance to develop omnichannel capabilities.

As a Supply Chain Omnichannel Fulfillment professional, you will:

·       Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the omnichannel domain for leading client proposals

·       Support other project teams in his capacity as an SME

·       Develop a deep understanding of current and future customer fulfillment and shipping requirements

·       Drive innovation projects related to omnichannel

·       Determine changes in operating model to manage new channels (e.g. ecommerce)

·       Co-create omnichannel vision with clients and share best omnichannel practices

·       Define new processes, system changes and standard operating procedures to satisfy channel needs and optimize operations

·       Drive business process improvements with the goal of creating a best in class order management process

·       Drive improvements in inventory availability and efficiency across digital platforms

Experience

The candidate should:

·       Have a deep understanding of the order to cash lifecycle to help client’s grow share in the digital commerce channel and achieve short/long term goals

·       Work independently in client facing situations as well as part of larger project teams in the design, development and implementation of new and improved business processes and enabling technology 

·       Be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages, especially German or French would be an asset 

·       Have a university degree, availability to travel and at least 5 years of experience in project management in the eCommerce/omnichannel space 

·       Demonstrate understanding of core Fulfillment processes and best practices to help an organization improve outcomes.
