Spa Therapist 

Start date: as soon as possible

seasonal contract till October 2019

Provide professional and engaging wellness therapies and massage treatments to our guests. Offer a full range of treatments to fulfill different guests needs and objectives and be an important factor to a client’s contentment. The ultimate goal is to succeed in making each guest’s stay unique and increase customer satisfaction.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Deliver a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, facials and other treatments as required) in a safe and comfortable manner.
• Maintain equipment and sample inventory of products.
• Keep a clean, tidy and stocked room.
• Acknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs and expectations.
• Suggest and promote retail products or additional services.
• Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations.
• Cooperate with and report on administration on any arising issues.
• Apply best practices and be up to date with market trends.
• Take responsibility for checking that all entries are correct in the Spa reservations and booking system which relates to their schedules and clients.
• Do regular checks on the gymnasium and ensure it’s clean and tidy with all equipment put back into place.  
• When appropriate – if the Spa Therapist is qualified to do so – deliver workshops and classes to clients. This will be pre-arranged with Spa Manager.

Skills, know-how and experience:
Must have:

• Degree or current license in aesthetics or physiotherapy.
• Proven work experience as a Spa Therapist.
• Hands on experience in massage techniques and face/body therapies.
• Fluent English.
• Communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude, charisma and enthusiasm.

Preferred:

• Experience in sales will be considered an asset.
• Additional language especially Spanish
• Qualification to teach yoga/pilates
