ARE DESCRIPTION:
International Services Area, within TIWS, is dedicated to promote the revenue growth and profitability of TIWS Retail products and Services. These services are commercialised through the Telefonica Group OBs or directly through the Multinational Customers Sales Area.
The Competence Center mission, within International Services area, is to support presales and engineering areas in understanding how our global services address the requirements set out by our B2B clients, design complex solution and coordinating either internal areas as well as Partners for feasible and profitable solutions.
RESPONSABILITIES:
• Specialized support for Presales department over SDN and NFV technologies and referring delivering commercial and engineer support, in different regions such as Europe, LATAM and USA.
• Responsible for designing and offering SDWAN and Complex Networking solutions based on different providers (Cisco-Viptela, Nuage, Velocloud, Silver Peak, Versa, etc...) for B2B Customers.
• Definition and quotation of special projects for high valued virtual networking solutions, coordinating either internal areas as well as providers for feasible and profitable solutions, adapted to the client requirements.
• Be a reference within TIWS at the expertise referring to SDWAN services, by delivering the necessary support at the selling and managing the knowledge transfer through presales teams.
• Searching of alternative providers to find competitive solutions, also through the monitoring and control of the actions involved at the company partnerships management.
• Consolidate the better practices and propose improvements to the Marketing and Product Departments, in order to accelerate services development, based on the experience with the customers, empowering the services/competitiveness promoting by TIWS
• Continuous Trainings for the presales teams, reference to cutting edge SDWAN technologies and services.
• Customer facing, having meetings with the end customer explaining the solution from a commercial and technical view.
EDUCATION:
o Degree on a technical career such as Telco engineering, Computer science, etc.
o Certification on Service Provider and Routing & Switching technologies (CCIE, CCNP, CCDP, etc...)
o Other certifications would be a plus
SPECIFIC SKILLS:
o Excellent communication, leadership and client facing skills
o Accustomed to working on his own initiative and within a team environment
o Highly motivated and able to perform under pressure
o Highly proactive
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:
Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
o Technical knowledge on Virtual Managed Services, SDWAN, Orchestration and Automation for cloud network services, Virtual Branch and SDN/NFV implementations.
o Prove experience on the field designing and deploying complex SDWAN solutions (Nuage VNS, vManage, Cisco ENCS, uCPE/vBranch, NSO, VMware NSX SD-WAN, etc..)
o Very good understanding on networking technologies (MPLS, IPv6, Multicast, IPSec, BGPv4, OSPF, Internet services, etc..)
o Technical knowledge on switching and wireless LAN technologies (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, HP)
o Understanding on Traffic Optimization solutions (Cisco, Riverbed, Ipanema)
o Experience in presales for large enterprise customers, assisting with strategic sales, technical presentation and RFP response.
o Solid technical knowledge and understanding of Service Providers business models and their service development cycle.
