Do you want to help shape the Customer experience for shopping low-priced products on Amazon? Are you interested in empowering Selling Partners of all sizes to bring millions of new item to Customers? The Seller Services team in Madrid, Spain is looking for an innovative, analytical, and results-oriented Senior Product Manager to help make Amazon the preeminent destination for Customers searching, browsing and buying low ASP (Average Selling Price) products. Low ASP is one of the fastest growing segments in e-commerce, and this role will lead a diverse set of projects to improve the Customer experience in selection, convenience and price. In this role, you will help drive large scale, high visibility projects in collaboration with Amazon teams across multiple geographies. Finally, you will work with a range of teams, including Insights & Innovation, Amazon Global Fulfillment Services, China Global Selling, and Consumer teams.
Key responsibilities:
· Develop a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact the low ASP Marketplace business. Use that knowledge to help deliver site features that provide Amazon customers with an unparalleled shopping experience.
· Help develop features to increase low ASP selection quantity and quality in collaboration with business, product and Seller engagement teams. Work closely with international teams to identify Selling Partners and grow selection.
· Help develop incentives for Sellers to keep prices low and drive adoption of services to reduce Seller costs. Experiment to improve how Amazon communicates the value (price, delivery speed, product quality) of low ASP offers to Customers.
· Work closely with EU leadership and technical teams on business and roadmap discussions. Create proposals for new business opportunities and help to develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features. Influence cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external parties, while meeting tight deadlines on high visibility projects.
· Uncover new insights on Customers’ perception of shopping low ASP on Amazon and other retailers. Use these insights to create new initiatives, test hypotheses, and identify improvements that can scale to other Amazon marketplaces.
· Support efforts to monitor the customer experience across the core inputs of the business (selection, price, convenience) in collaboration with product teams, and create, audit and report on key metrics to stakeholders across the organization.
· Minimum 7+ years’ experience preferably in product management, sales management or management consulting
· Knowledge of SQL
· Highly organized and results oriented.
· Strong analytical skills (including advanced excel and database analysis).
· Strong written and verbal communication skills (Fluent English; Spanish is preferred but not necessary)
· Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
· A great deal of personal initiative and strong hands-on attitude along with creativeness, decisiveness and results-driven mentality for a business-focused way of thinking.
· Proven project management skills, customer focused, extremely detail-oriented, and able to effectively prioritize and multi-task.
· Proven experience in developing original ideas, approaches, and solutions to typical, unusual, or difficult situations in a competitive and ever changing business climate
· MBA or advanced degree in engineering.
· Proficient in Tableau, business intelligence tools, Microsoft Excel VBA and programming.
· Experience in e-commerce is advantageous
