Amazon Studios is looking for a Senior Post Production Executive to support all scripted and unscripted series projects produced in Spain, Italy and the rest of Europe from our Madrid office. Amazon Studios is the television development and production arm of Amazon.com. Over the past 5 years, we have debuted award winning and ground-breaking programming (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Man in the High Castle, Un Extraño Enemigo and Six Dreams). In 2019 we will continue to provide excellent shows and break new ground in the television and film industry.
The Senior Post Production Executive will track progress and manage the delivery of all assets from third party productions to Amazon Studios in Spain, Italy and other parts of Europe. You will be responsible for maintaining schedules, following up on outstanding deliverables, and organizing assets for delivery to Prime Video (PV). The role will coordinate with third-party vendors on work related to the editing and versioning of assets, ensuring highest quality standards, tracking expenditures for all production department related work orders, and distributing assets for Public Relations, Marketing and International Localization needs.
This role will work directly with the Content Acquisition and Development teams in Los Angeles, London, Madrid and Milan. You will be the main point of contact in Spain for the Operations teams in Los Angeles, London and Seattle. You will also evaluate new post-related products and provide thoughtful advice on potential risks and issues in a wide range of asset management areas, including potential vendors, archival solutions and new technologies.
Responsibilities:
· Oversees all series projects in development, production and post production for scripted and unscripted content
· Evaluates technical workflows
· Reviews budgets and vendor bids
· Analyzes post schedule and delivery timelines
· Acts a liaison from producers to Los Angeles-based International Originals Post Production team and the London-based European Originals Post Production team
· Proven experience as Post Producer/Post Executive or the equivalent
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English
· Organized and with great attention to detail
· Understanding of budgeting, scheduling and technical workflows
· Experience with a variety of digital media workflows
· Experience with delivery of assets to studio
· Post/Editorial problem solving ability
· Experience in various television/film post production environments
· Strong written and oral communication skills in Italian and other languages
· Experience with scheduling post vendors and creating schedules from the beginning to end of production cycles
· Experience with delivery of assets to studio
· Experience with a variety of digital media workflows
· Knowledge of wide array of media asset types
· Experience with International subtitling and dubbing workflows
· Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
· Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines
