Area Description (Data Innovation):
The Data innovation team has a mission to transform the business of Telefonica through the application of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to our data. We are a motivated, energetic team working in a fast-paced, highly iterative way to build products and incubate businesses that can create a smart and savvy cognitive customer experience. And we are looking for entrepreneurial leaders who share our vision of a highly-personalized, proactive and frictionless customer experience of the future and who can nurture new projects and cross-functional project teams to realize that future.
The brand new adage says: ”data is the new oil”. Data is just like crude that cannot be used unless it is refined. It has to be transformed into gas, plastic, chemicals, etc., to make it useful. And then, it can be piped where it is needed to make real time decisions. In this sense, “mobile data” would be like the light crude, that it is variety that produces a higher yield of petrol. Mobile data is an extraordinary useful source of information about human mobility. Nowadays, no other source of data can provide such level of capillarity and reach within human population. That is the reason why it is the preferred data for analysing any human behaviour that includes human mobility.
The candidate will boost adtech strategy & Execution within Data Innovation projects:
- Identify market opportunities and define adtech vision and strategy
- Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementation.
- Engage closely with both business and engineering team to ensure all product devlopement solves desired customer problems in a reasonable launch schedule.
- Effectively utilize metrics to maintain a technical analysis of products and processes, highlight problems and areas of improvement, and indicate measures of success
- Become an adtech product expert and domain expert in real-time bidding
Professional Experience:
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience and thrive working in a fast-paced startup environment or experience in digital advertising companies.
- +5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience building advertising technology products and/or familiarity with digital advertising technology
Education required:
Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a quantitative or technical field such as business, economics, engineering, mathematics, etc.

- Strong analytical and software skills
- Strong technical writing and business acumen
- Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment,industry trends; excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills.
Technical Skills:
- Have worked within different adtech ecosystems
- Experience with Digital Analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics), Tag Management Solutions (Ensighten, Tealium, GTM), A/B & MVT Solutions (Target, Optimizely, Sitespect)
Languages:
Fluency in written and spoken english
