IQVIA™ Real-World Evidence (RWE) teams work with clients to help them collect and use real-world data to generate evidence to meet the needs of regulators, payers, providers and patients. Our approach is unique in the industry and is defining the way companies can develop and apply real-world evidence to provide deeper insight about market dynamics, therapy area changes, outcomes research and other scientific insights. IQVIA Global Outcomes Research unit, part of the broader Health Economic and Outcomes Research and Health Technology Assessment department, focuses in site based NIS with the aim to collect data on burden of disease, treatment patterns, patient reported outcomes, amongst others. We are working towards productisation and standardisation so to make services and products more profitable, consistent in quality and scalable by using technology and firm QM systems.

Position Purpose

As part of the Observational team this role is to coordinate and project manage national and international clinical study fieldwork of multiple and multi-country projects

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate and project manage study fieldwork of multiple, multi-country projects within client deadlines with the support of more senior colleagues.
  • Set guidelines and write study protocols.
  • Monitors study logistics.
  • Detect possible deviations or problems in study fieldwork and find best solution.
  • Reporting project development directly to clients
  • Participate in customers and investigators meetings.
  • Administration control of the fees and expenses during the Project (travels, meetings, investigators payment).
  • Work within Quality Assurance SOP’s; follow up SOP’s, attend training, participate in internal and external audits, support SOP’s update to Quality Assurance
  • Support proposal development
  • Education

Life sciencies degree

  • Experience:
  • At least 1 relevant years experience working in clinical observational studies
  • Experience of working in sizable/multi-disciplined teams and supervising staff
  • Must be organized with strong capability in managing projects and juggling priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistently highquality outcomes
  • Experience of developing credible relationships (remotely) with senior level managers and executives
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal with strong client influencing skills
  • Ability to liaise comfortably with investigators and other study groups
  • Demonstrable analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible approach, prepared to adapt and reprioritize to meet clients and internal needs
  •  Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
  • Must be fluent in English, written and verbal

Languages: top level English. Technical skills: MS Office with especially Excel, Powerpoint
