JOB DESCRIPTION:

Venue Results Manager has the overall responsibility of On-Venue Results processes and activities for the assigned sport discipline at Olympic and Paralympic Games.

• Lead the Venue Results Team working at the venue, including amongst other activities:
• Manage the Technology Results Team: OVR (Omega team), PRD (Organising Committee print distribution team), Results volunteers and coordinate daily activities including T&S-related activities
• Be aware of Omega T&S and Volunteer requirements
• Coordinate activities with Sports (Competition Management, Sports entries and Sports presentation), International Federations and Ceremonies.
• Participate in daily meetings with the Venue Management team, other parts of Organising Committee Technology and sports, together with counterparts.
• Assess all incidents and either act if the problem lies within the Results area and/or immediately alert the counterpart.
• Follow all Operation policies and procedures, including but not limited to Change Management Process and ORIS procedures, Issues tracking.
• Oversee issues raised by the Print Distribution Supervisor regarding the PRD application.
• Manage the Print Distribution Volunteers and all issues related to Print Distribution.
• Be the single point of contact within the Venue Results area for the TOC.
• Be the channel of communication within the sport venue with all clients/suppliers (for T&S, OVR, ODS, OBS, Venue Media, Competition Management, CVTM, VTM, etc).

SKILLS:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT project management
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Integration Testing
• Previous experience on Results services provisioning for a Major Event
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Fluent in English, good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work well under pressure, ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural and international environment
• Ability to accept a significant level of responsibility and accountability
• Ability to quickly understand complex problems and devise effective solutions
• Driving license
