The EUIDQ team, as part of InTech, strives to solve complex catalog quality problems using challenging Machine Learning and Big Data analysis solutions. As tech leader of the team, you'll be part of a key effort to improve our customers experience by tackling and preventing defects in items in Amazon's catalog.

We look for experienced software engineering leaders who possess a wide variety of skills. As the successful applicant for this role, you will solve varied complex problems across Amazon (including business prioritization, technical challenges in optimization, large-scale computing, machine learning, data mining, big data analysis, distributed systems, web applications, scalability, security, and algorithms, to name just a few). You will drive multiple programs in parallel, you will work with business stakeholders and partner technical teams worldwide, and you will support the growth and development of a high-performing software engineering team. You'll create professional quality software by applying software engineering best practices, improving the experience of millions of customers using Amazon daily. This position will be based in Madrid, Spain

· BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience.
· 10+ years of professional experience developing production commercial software in Java, C++ or other Object Oriented language.
· Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, agile development, build processes, testing, and operations.
· Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently.
· Strong communication skills, ability to work well in a team environment.

· Experience with machine learning, deep learning, data mining, and/or statistical analysis tools.
· Experience with Python.
· Experience with highly distributed systems.
· Experience with development on AWS.
