The Amazon Marketplace is a large and fast growing business where millions of customers transact with hundreds of thousands of Selling Partners, who range from individuals to large retailers.


We are looking for a bright and ambitious individual to build their career with our Marketplace team in Spain as a Manager for our Selling Partner recruitment team. Our team focuses on recruiting new Selling Partners to our Marketplace and growing the business of existing ones through working directly with Selling Partners and implementing site improvements (scalable solutions) that benefit all of them.


In this role, you will be responsible for Selling Partner recruitment in our Consumer Electronics categories. You will lead a team of account managers who work directly with Consumer Electronics Selling Partners and on projects to improve the Marketplace overall. You will need to drive business development conversations with top accounts, analyze complex data to identify growth opportunities, coach and develop your team to help them succeed, and work with peers across the EU to invent scalable solutions.


You will also have responsibilities in transversal programs beyond the Consumer Electronics team, working with the senior leadership of our EU businesses and global teams (e.g. account management and product development teams).

Role Objectives
· Manage and develop a team of 3+ account managers to deliver on financial goals for Selling Partner recruitment and Selling Partner account management in the Marketplace business.
· Create and maintain relationships with top Key Accounts, leading the conversations with top Selling Partners to be launched.
· Identify opportunities to improve the Marketplace business for all Selling Partners through scalable solutions and manage the roll-out of these solutions, including solving blockers and issues escalated by managed Sellers.
· Act as the lead for one our critical account management programs - presenting on performance, driving consistency across EU teams / product families and identifying opportunities to extend the program.
· Share leanings with your global counterparts (EU, US and Asia teams) to drive best practices and to identify new opportunities
· Conduct deep dives to understand root cause of team performance and actions to accelerate growth.
· Work closely with Category teams to identify category specific growth opportunities, presenting at Category monthly business reviews.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for an individual that is excited about building a career in e-commerce and is able to:

· Identify new, innovative opportunities and translate these into tangible results

· Influence individuals at all levels of the organization
· Take the initiative and operate with a high degree of autonomy

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in management consulting, product management or sales management
· Experience in retail and/or a technology / eCommerce business preferred but not essential
· Experience managing teams
· Experience in the Consumer Electronics categories is beneficial but not essential
· High level of academic achievement at degree level. MBA is beneficial but not necessary
