At Amazon Logistics we are building a world class last mile operation, significantly complimented by Amazon Flex. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called delivery partners – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, individuals can now be their own boss delivering Amazon packages. Amazon Flex is powered by a mobile app that works in concert with our advanced logistics systems that allows delivery partners to on board, schedule delivery times, guide them through their deliveries with in-app mapping and navigation, and more. The approach and technology are nothing short of disruptive, and promise to challenge traditional approaches, and change the way the industry operates.
The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for building out acquisition marketing with the agency, recruiting and driver communications and diving into the funnel to improve conversion rates. This position will be responsible for optimizing the funnel, improving processes, product, UX. He/She will work with program management to convert volumes into specific recruitment targets and then work with agencies to drive ROI based marketing tactics to deliver on the committed goals. Additionally, the person will be responsible for managing DP communications and life cycle till activation. She or he will also be responsible for the marketing analytics, to help measure ROI and ensure that we are accountable for the spend. Understanding the target audience, driving marketing innovation and being a results driven marketer are key expectations.
This role is inherently cross-functional—this leader will work closely with program management, operations, and executive teams to ensure that we have the right approach to recruiting and growing all appropriate business opportunities. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, and customer-focused, team oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. Great writing skills are a must.
The Senior Marketing Manager will also be able to demonstrate a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. High knowledge of Excel and other databases will be expected within this role.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven background in a Senior Marketing role. They should also be able to display the following skills and experience.
· Bachelor’s degree
· Experience of operating, managing, and delivering results in a consumer facing online retail/services product management role.
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
· Proven experience in executing technology solutions in a fast paced, high growth, operational business environment
· Experience managing, negotiating, and communicating with internal/external business partners
· Excellent technical comprehension, and both verbal and written communication skills
· Highly organized, ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little to no guidance and tight deadlines
· Master’s degree/MBA in business, operations, logistics, supply chain, or related field
· A track record of success in developing and executing crowd sourcing strategies aimed at growing business partnerships
