Senior Product Manager en Madrid

Amazon is looking for highly talented Senior Product Manager to drive various product initiatives in Italy and Spain to further improve our customer experience for Other Hardlines category.

As Senior Product Manager you will own end-to-end the scope, management and delivery of large-scale projects, with strong focus on selection, pricing, automation, process improvement and efficiency. You will interact with local and international category and technical teams, gathering requirements, building scalable solutions and managing their implementation.

Responsibilities:
· Drive automation and process improvement opportunities in various Retail areas such as Vendor Management, Selection, Catalog Quality, Pricing, etc.
· Lead scalable initiatives across different business verticals, engaging the different Retail category teams to increase their efficiency and productivity
· Drive large-impact IDQ/Marketing initiatives
· Partner closely with international tech and non-tech teams to ensure proper implementation
· Create and own the right set of metrics and audit mechanisms to track the performance of such initiatives

· Bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or related discipline is required
· 6+ years professional experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, data mining, and analytics techniques
· Experience with SQL and big data technologies
· A passion for metrics and figures, the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture.
· Familiarity with data visualization tools
· The desire to work in a business team, to be exposed to business challenges and to generate new solutions leveraging own technical skills.
· Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize workload and roadmap through strong project management skills
· Fluent in English and ideally one between Italian/Spanish. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to influence multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional projects across category or other departments
· Bias for action and hunger for quantifiable results
· Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Python/R or other machine learning software.
· Apply statistical and machine learning methods to solve business problems.
· Use analytical insights to help increase teams’ effectiveness against key strategic goals.
· Deal with ambiguity, conduct deep dive analyses on business problems, and formulate conclusions
· Acquire, understand, and analyze large and complex datasets
· Work closely with the SDEs, DEs, and Scientists to drive model/solution development, improve data quality, validate models, and run A/B tests
