AREA DESCRIPTION:

Financial Services in CCDO aims to capture a position for Telefonica in the Financial Services Industry, developing new business leveraging Telefonica assets and capabilities.

 

MISSION:

Product Manager will take on responsibility for insurance products and be accountable for growing this products profitable while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

 

RESPONSABILITIES:

Constantly screen, analyse and benchmark the insurance industry for innovations and relevant movements.
Lead in E2E product development life-cycle.
Prepare product or marketing solutions in alignment with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Develop expertise on the vertical and leverage that knowledge to prioritize the customers’ needs.
Design and implement product improvements and updates.
Develop data & technology driven and disruptive value propositions for different insurance vertical businesses in Telefonica (home, car, health, etc.).
Collaborate with internal clients (OBs, global areas) and external partners (main industry players, technology providers, startups) to define and evolve the value proposition.  
Develop business case and recommend pricing models that enable our OBs to maximise monetization opportunities and revenues.
Partner with internal and external technical product/operations teams to ensure the services are being developed and integrated & deployed locally in an effective manner. 
Support Go to Market in our key markets in Europe and Latin America. 

 

EDUCATION:

Degree in Marketing / Economics and Actuary and Financial Sciences

 

SPECIFIC SKILLS:

Self-starter with curiosity and passion technology and the will to overcome the imperfections of an industry 
Team player with strong change maker/influencer profile, able to manage internal/external relationships and drive product related decisions, working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Multitasking capacity, able to focus on different markets (Latam, Europe) and industry verticals (car, home, health, etc.) 
Highly customer oriented and open, innovative mindest
Excellent communications & presentation skills.

 

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

High knowledge of market and research tools and techniques
High knowledge of insurance organizations, commercial markets and rating methodology.
Solid knowledge of product development and legal concepts.

 

EXPERIENCE:

Professional experience of 2 - 5 years in: 
Competitive market and trend analysis (competitors, challengers from the insurtech industry, major technology players) 
Insurtech/Insurance industry in product/partnership and or strategy positions with strong innovation expertise
Creation of disruptive solutions with outstanding customer experiences and a strong focus on digital technology and data driven improvements to existing solutions  
Excellent communications & presentation skills with the ability to foster trusted & positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
