Lo que vas a hacer
The intern candidate will be a talented developer who should have some experience in developing well-organised code and good user-interfaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the activities of the senior developer.
The person must have a can-do attitude, a good eye for detail and work independently.
We will use the agile/scrum development methodology, supported by Jira, Basecamp and Github. Our technology stack will contain:
- Javascript/HTML/CSS
- MariaDB
- Zend
Experience with the components of the stack are highly valued. Candidates must be able to present examples of their past work. However, no previous job experience is required.
Communication skills are very important to us, since we are a small group. Candidates are expected to be able to use all modern channels of communication.
Fluency in Spanish or Catalan is a must with a good level of English.
Desirable technical skills:
- Experience in Javascript, HTML5, CSS3 and other user interface technologies
- Knowledge of PHP, ideally also of the Zend framework
- Knowledge of React.js and Redux
- Knowledge of Python
- Basic administration of SQL/MariaDB
- Git, AWS
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, Telecommunications
- Demonstrable experience in Javascript or PHP in connection with databases
- Good oral English and good communication in general
- Highly organised and disciplined, creative and innovative
- Genuine passion for programming (usually demonstrated by undertaking personal projects)
- Good problem-solving ability with a desire to improve via self-motivated learning
- Great attention to detail
