Job Summary:
OBJECTIVES To support the Head of Iberia sales in achieving sales targets for presold admissions, accommodations and revenue for Disneyland Paris (DLP), Disney Cruise Line (DCL) and Walt Disney World Resort (WDW) - Disney Destinations, for the Portuguese Market.
Responsibilities:
- In charge of Account management and sales promotions with retail travel trade.
- Achieve set objectives which support the overall strategy of Disney Destinations in Spain and Portugal.
- Develop effectively sales and revenue opportunities to deliver annual targets.
- Develop an outstanding relationship with customers and trade partners, supporting their needs, goals and priorities, being business sound for Disney Destinations.
- Secure and maintain accounts profitability, under win-win negotiations scenarios.
- Define and implement sales and marketing plans with key accounts and execute them in a timely manner.
- Be innovative, creative and proactive, leveraging knowledge of travel market to find and implement new opportunities to develop sales and revenue.
- Create and execute trade activation plans through dedicated presentations, training programmes and other events as required.
- Support and boost direct channel growth.
- Stay highly updated on the latest market trends while keeping positive networking.
- Become an expert on Disney Destinations brands, products and way of working, showcasing
Disney values both internally and externally.
- Develop strong relationships with Disneyland Paris local and central teams ensuring internal coordination and efficient information flow.
- Other daily duties:
- Follow-up of Business and activation plans, ensure partner’s satisfaction and efficiency promoting Disney Destinations (tools availability, permanent communication workflow, product update), monitor and report sales performance.
- Coordination with marketing department for travel industry marketing activities.
- Attend and support key travel industry trade shows, workshops, family trips and training events to represent Disney Destinations, across Spain and Portugal.
- Support other work related tasks and projects when required by the Head of Sales.
Basic Qualifications:
5 to 8 years of experience.Sales experience in travel industry and Iberia market knowledge.Proven experience of key account management with track records.Large matrix organisation experience required.Key account management, project leadership and solid organisational skills. Great set of influencing and negotiation skills.Flexible, innovative and creative approach.Highly motivated, team player, positive attitude and proactivity.Results-Oriented and business driver.Strong analytical skills and “business leads”.Autonomy and self-starters. Strong communication & public relations skills.Structured and organised.Digital savvy.Professional excellence, integrity and pragmatism.
Required Education
University Degree.Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.High level of French would be a plus.Flexibility to travel.Computer Skills.
