JOB DETAILS

 

onthespot has reached a commercial collaboration agreement with Telefónica's operator in the UK. This collaboration is underway, so we seek to incorporate a person, who can lead in an integral way the deployment of digital transformation projects of spaces in the UK, as well as the definition of the operational model of implementation and support.

 

Report / Organization: This position will report hierarchically to the Head of Global Operations, and functionally to the Head of Business UK.

 

Key Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Define, implement and ensure the proper functioning of the local value chain: delivery, implementation and support for the first customers and subsequent roll-out, as well as operating models
  • Work together with the pre-sales area to identify the relevant supplier maps for the operation.
  • Work with suppliers to implement and monitor operational models (project management, installation and maintenance) and follow up on them
  • Provide training on processes, products and tools to external suppliers
  • Define common procedures and methodology to be followed for the management, installation and maintenance of projects, together with their managers.
  • Learn best practices from other operations and transfer them to the UK operation to ensure efficient delivery.

    Define and develop scorecards that allow monitoring of projects and subsequent presentation to clients.

  • Define, execute and control the schedule, profitability compliance, milestones and specifications of the projects that are carried out. Specifically, control and analysis economic deviations from the project portfolio.
  • Identify, solve and scale problems that arise in relation to the execution of projects.
  • Coordinate and mobilize the areas involved in the execution and implementation of the projects.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in the projects carried out, and work with the corresponding areas or stakeholders, to make the necessary changes. .

  • Maintain an adequate level of knowledge of products, services and commercial skills.
  • Guarantee the correct transfer of the projects after obtaining the Ready for Service
  • Assign the installations of large projects to the installers, draw up installation and control specifications for installation companies.
  • Keep track of the suppliers that manage the facilities (portfolio to be installed and installation times for the different projects of the operation for monitoring and reporting).
  • Place orders in the corresponding systems
  • Economic control of projects

 

Location: The position will be located in Madrid, Spain, but since the position is related to commercial management in the UK, the selected person must have plenty of availability for frequent international travel and short stays.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education: Technical Engineer or Higher Degree in telecommunications, computer science or related. PMP degree, Agile methodologies, or similar will be valuated.

 

Technical Knowledge: 

  • Audiovisual systems and digital signage (excluding)
  • Knowledge of dynamic marketing systems, systems for capturing, processing and reproducing video and audio, projection systems, LED screens, sound systems, videoconferences, debate systems (excluding)
  • Project, visio and autocad

Expertise: + 3 years, in similar positions, managing audiovisual projects (dynamic marketing or integration of technological projects)  as a project or service manager, as well as in the elaboration of operational models and processes. It will be valued to have experience in international end-to-end project management.
