Site Leader M/F - Central Operations en Barcelona

Central Operations refers to a new approach in Amazon Logistics to define a scalable solution to run the increasingly complex and growing last mile delivery network. Central Operations is a key strategic initiative with a vision to transform the way AMZL executes route planning, scheduling and last mile delivery. We are looking for a Program Manager with a track record of operational excellence to lead this new team through to scalability, ensuring strong processes and culture are developed. This person will be able develop new teams that operate in areas of the business with a high degree of ambiguity that require a great deal of thought leadership. The role will provide opportunities to think big, develop original ideas, and partner with AMZL Planning, Transportation, Last Mile Tech, Operations and business expansion teams to develop a strategic approach to scale Central Operations.


- Drive optimization of key CO controllable metrics to delight our customers on both performance and cost by delivering projects to improve CO functional areas is forecasting, labor planning, routing and on-road performance
- Lead operations across multiple sites with remote reporting structure to ensuring teams delivering key program deliverables
- Develop cross-functional relationships with first and middle mile central teams to drive overall EU operations alignment
- Be a key stakeholder in creating scalable hiring processes that meet the needs of a multi-site operation with a broad set of language requirements
- Work closely with CO’s expansion team to ensure the translation of business requirements into technologies requests is effectively communicated so that CO have access to the best in class management platforms
- Implement a culture of continuous improvement through proven methodologies

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Spanish
- Demonstrable Program Management experience in a related industry
- Problem-solving skills and the abilities to analyze quantitatively, scope technical requirements, and effectively prioritize program deliverables.
- Track record of leading teams a scale to own critical business functions
- Presentation and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build partnerships with senior leaders across a variety of groups throughout Amazon.

- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
- Experience in supply chain management and technologies
- Experience with implementing Kaizen continuous improvement process in teams
- Experience with agile or similar program management methodologies
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units.
- Experience working with remote teams and external partners.
