Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Software Engineer Backend to join our Team of Payments and Daily Banking Tribe

The responsibility of this team is delivery and support of product services, and our way of working is agile

Your key responsibilities:

As an Engineer you will:

Design, develop and test the code that will shape the different components of the application, ensuring that they meet the requirements of functionality, quality and performance.

Deliver in Production a working software by giving the best use to technology and development practices. It includes the documentation and parameters that can help reaching that goal.

Support Production by analysis and fixing any bugs that occurs. Contribute to improve the technical discipline by collaborating with the cross technical chapter.

As an expert in the Backend area, you specifically add value on that technical layer but always keep in mind the rest of the technical stack as part of the Squad responsibilities.

As a Software Engineer Backend for one of our retail tribes you should have the following knowledge and experience:

Essential:

• Good coding Skills on all Middleware layer: Java 8/11/17

• Spring (Boot, MVC, CORE, Security, Dependecy Injection).

• Microservices: Hexagonal architecture; Patterns (Circuit Breaker, Healthcheck, Api Gateway, Service Discovery); Feature Flags.

• Design Patterns, SOLID, Clean Code, Software Craftmanship.

• Back End & Devops awareness (understand the global architecture / infrastructure).

• Testing: Unit Testing (Techniques: White-box/ Black-box, What is a unit?); Type of testing (unit testing, integration and smoke); Junit; Contract Testing; Framework mocks (Mockito, Mockmvc, Wiremock, Powermock).

• Maven.

• Docker, Openshift or Kubernetes.

• Git.

• DDD.

• CI / CD pipelines.

• Devops Skills.

• Azure DevOps Pipelines.

• 5 years of experience on similar technical stack.

• Agile team experience with SCRUM or Kanban or XP.

• Excellent speaking and writing skills in English is a must.

Desirable:

• Retail banking knowledge.

• Database change management (Liquibase, Flyway).

• Prometheus or similar TSDB.

• Security: JWT, Mutual TLS, Access token.

• Jenkins.

• BDD.

• Reactive programming, futures.

Estamos buscando un talentoso y entusiasta Ingeniero de Software Backend para unirse a nuestro equipo de la Tribu de Pagos y Banca Diaria.

La responsabilidad de este equipo es la entrega y el soporte de servicios de productos, y nuestra forma de trabajar es ágil.

Tus responsabilidades clave:

Como Ingeniero, tú:

• Diseñarás, desarrollarás y probarás el código que dará forma a los diferentes componentes de la aplicación, asegurándote de que cumplan con los requisitos de funcionalidad, calidad y rendimiento.
• Entregarás en Producción un software funcional utilizando la mejor tecnología y prácticas de desarrollo. Esto incluye la documentación y parámetros que pueden ayudar a alcanzar ese objetivo.
• Apoyarás la Producción mediante el análisis y la corrección de cualquier error que ocurra. Contribuirás a mejorar la disciplina técnica colaborando con el capítulo técnico transversal.
• Como experto en el área de Backend, agregarás valor específicamente en esa capa técnica, pero siempre teniendo en cuenta el resto de la pila técnica como parte de las responsabilidades del Escuadrón.
