Job Summary:
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with analytics skills to work within an insights team, working directly with product stakeholders and gaining the opportunity to learn about the vast research and insights work taking place across Disney.
You will be part of an analytics team helping to evaluate and optimise the performance of the Company’s digital products; covering web and apps, affiliate and content business models and helping to drive the digital performance of iconic brands such as Fox or National Geographic.
The successful candidate must be comfortable creating data analysis framework to sustain a robust reporting and analysis environment. That involves taking ownership of ETL processes, management of staging and live database tables, the delivery of well-designed visual reporting, as well as excellent stakeholder management and communication. The candidate must also be able to interpret trends and clearly articulate key insights to business stakeholders.
In addition to the data management you will be expected to engage with and deliver analysis to help guide production, marketing and technology teams. This can cover all form of analysis including acquisition, retention, product insight as well as AB experimentation.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating data analysis framework and produce insights and data reports for several Disney brands:
- Operate analytics framework for National Geographic and FOX digital and non-linear products across European countries (web, apps, STB based products)
- Design and implement best-practice measurement strategies for FOX & National Geographic digital products (web, apps, etc.) across European markets
- To define and coordinate internal and external tags implementation through Tag Management System in co-ordination with DTCI Tech Data Platforms team
- Identify and advise on web, video and app analytics tools/services that may bring a competitive edge to the field
- To work with high volumes of data in different formats. Working with DTCI Tech Data Platforms team to define data models, workflows and final visualizations
- Push data visualization projects to help organization in improving data consumption
- Find innovative ways to search for meaningful patterns, trends, and relationships amongst large amounts of data. Identify Key metrics, analyses and reporting processes that lead to genuinely actionable findings
- Make data based recommendations to improve product performance and user experience of digital products
- Full coordination with Research team to include digital consumption as a key element in traditional reports
Basic Qualifications:
Experience
- Experience in performing data analysis
- Experience in delivering analysis and data visualisation
- Experienced in implementing web analytics tools on international set of websites and apps. Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving web analytics implementation and reporting issues
- Experience with Data visualization tools such Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with Tag Management Systems such GTM or Tealium
- Experience in coordinating or working with international teams, working collaboratively towards deadlines, communicating plans and getting local teams on board
Skills
- Highly technically literate in the area of systems and data
- Ability to interact with a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Active interest and strong understanding of the digital landscape
- Proven ability to influence at all levels internally, externally and cross territory
- Multi tasking of multiple projects and priorities essential
- Must work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Strong collaborative approach to work
- Ability to look at the bigger picture and understand complex structures
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, verbal, and written skills
Excellent written and spoken English is essential. Speaking other EU languages (German, Italian, French…) is a plus.
