Amazon Operations sits at the heart of the Amazon customer experience. We deal with the ‘everyday experience’ of shopping on Amazon. Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned communicator to tell our proactive stories better, sharing the magic of Amazon operations and the world that exists behind the click. This role reports directly to the Head of Campaigns for Amazon’s EMEA Operations, and is responsible for the development and delivery of new proactive campaigns for the business. They are also responsible for overseeing the refresh of our existing playbooks (eg. FC openings), management of key projects (eg. Health & Safety) and co-ordination of external platform opportunities (eg. proactive speaker programme) across the region. They will also be a team player, able to support the Communications function on additional activities where needed.

As part of the wider External Amazon Ops EMEA Communications team, this individual will work with the seven country PR leaders to implement co-ordinated and consistent positive campaigns across the region. They will be highly skilled in creative communications, with a proven track record of strategic thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a matrix-led environment. The role has no direct reports, but will work with the country PR leaders, their teams and relevant agencies to deliver proactively for the business.

This person will be responsible for:

· Leading multi-country Ops PR campaigns across EMEA. Example Campaigns: Future of the Workplace; Innovation & Technology; Customer Experience / Customer Delight amplification
· Working with key stakeholders including VP-level EMEA Leaders, Country Leaders (in both Retail and Operations), and the Global Communications and Operations community
· The appointment, integration and management of a regional strategic/creative agency to build proactive EMEA campaigns aligned to our 2020 pillars
· Driving region-wide partnerships and sponsorships
· Managing major region-wide Communications projects
This person must be able to:
· Spot a story, know how to tell it, and deliver it across multiple countries against defined measures
· Work cross-functionally right across the business
· Continually raise the bar on the development of new ideas and ways of working
· Develop mechanisms, processes, and measurement of campaigns to understand what is working and what needs improvement


REQUISITOS BÁSICOS

· 8+ years of PR/Communications experience
· Experience of driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams
· Experience managing communications teams
· Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, or related discipline/experience
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to create compelling campaigns and generate stories that work for media, reviewing and providing constructive feedback to improve and optimize campaigns across the team
· Strong bias for action
· Experience working cross-functionally across Operations, Marketing, Retail, HR and Legal teams.
· Analytical abilities shown to drive metrics and benchmarks, ensuring continuous improvement in process and results
· Proven track of record of building, managing and optimizing large-scale multi-channel communications campaigns
· Equally comfortable building strategic communications plans and executing at a tactical level
· Ability to identify better ways of working at scale through building new mechanisms and processes in order to achieve our goals
