Job Summary:
To achieve the business goals for Walt Disney World (WDW) and Disney Cruise Line (DCL) by managing the creative development & overall campaign implementation for trade partners and CD channel with a 50% focus on WDW and 50% focus on DCL.
· To work with the Brand Strategy team, the Commercial and Marketing Manager in the UK and the Head of Marketing & PR in Spain & Portugal on Annual Operating plans. Manage the briefing & implementation of marketing campaigns across WDW and DCL for Spain & Portugal.
· To develop, implement, manage and review creative for trade partner campaigns & translations for CD channels across WDW & DCL to drive sales / awareness.
· Implement 360º marketing plans for both WDW & DCL.
· Work together with the WDTC Marketing team & Marketing and Commercial Manager in the UK and Key Account Manager in Spain/Portugal to support the develop of overall strategy for the CD channel.
Responsibilities:
Take overall responsibility for briefing and implementation of all major trade partner marketing campaigns ensuring the development, briefing, co-ordination, sign off, launch & reviews are successfully implemented & are compliant with the Disney Destinations Brand guidelines.
· Ensure all campaigns are delivered to the maximum effectiveness, on time & on budget.
· Plan all WDW and DCL campaigns in coordination with DLP media plan to maximize the visibility of each Disney Destination across the market.
· Align and co-ordinate campaign briefs for both media and advertising for WDW and DCL in conjunction with the WDTC.
· Coordination of the different campaign assets: legal mentions, texts, visuals, partner’s logos, banners, headlines, offers and ensuring brand guidelines are implemented.
· Coordinate with co-op partners to supervise campaign media recommendations & performance (spot list and co funding).
· Help monitor and analyze digital campaign KPIs, looking for improvements and optimization.
· Ensure TWDCo owned media visibility for the campaigns in conjunction with the WDTC.
· Share WDW / DCL materials with SoMe, Disney.es, Newsletters, Publishing, Disney Channel, TDS.
· Update and track media plans (on line & off line) and local reports (budget, GRPs, coverage, OTs, Rns/Admissions).
· Deliver analysis on all WDW & DCL campaign performance.
· Management of co-op marketing budgets, ensuring timely execution of quotes/invoices and finance processes are followed for partner activity. Including managing & updating finance tracking files on a bi-weekly basis.
· Work in partnership with the Key Account Manager for WDW & DCL for Spain/Portugal together with Iberian sales and marketing teams to build & develop relationships with the marketing contacts of key retail travel trade, ensuring that these strong partnerships are leveraged to support of our key strategies and objectives across WDW & DCL.
· Support where necessary with brochure development and approval (commercial and brand appearance) for partner brochures as well as support on CD brochure translations.
· Support on building brochure templates and style guidelines for WDW and DCL on a yearly basis.
· Support where necessary, in defining and creating the necessary training collateral and presentations to ensure Spanish travel agents have the latest information, tips, tools and offer details on WDW & DCL.
· Ensure alignment of CD annual plan in conjunction with the wider Iberia market marketing activity.
· Ensure partner websites are up to date and aligned with WDW and DCL brand guidelines.
Basic Qualifications:
Min. 7-9 years marketing or travel industry marketing experience required
· Experience with working in/with a Tour Operator desirable
· Disney experience will be a plus
· Spanish travel industry knowledge desirable
· Large matrix organisation experience desirable
· Degree Certified
· Demonstrated strategic and tactical skills related to implementation of marketing and sales plans and recommending ideas necessary for success
· Exceptional organizational, project management and communication skills to balance marketing programs across two brands for optimal execution and success
