Junior Project Manager en Barcelona

As a Junior Project Manager, you will be responsible for analysing, optimizing and implementing reporting/Business Operations processes, as well as scoping, designing and implementing new supply chain solutions. You will be part of a Global Business Operations team located in Barcelona (Sant Cugat), while working tightly with different locations worldwide.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting Project Managers throughout the entire lifespan of a project. Projects will be mainly revolving 2 areas:

Process improvement

• Defining and analysing current processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collecting requirements from regional and global teams to ensure new processes meet stakeholders’ expectations.
• Working with reporting teams to understand data sources and limitations.
• Creating Business Requirement Documents (BRD) to translate user requirements to Reporting Specialists.
• Testing and implementation of new processes/tools.

Supply Chain Solutions

• Identifying and launching new Supply Chain Solutions.
• Performing several tasks during projects implementation (e.g. preparation of training material, slides for management review, creation of new KPIs etc.).
• Identifying and evaluating potential projects risks/obstacles with low direction from project managers. Determining appropriate corrective action.
• Identifying key milestones. Documenting and managing project schedule with input from program/project team.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain/Business.

• Basic knowledge of general Operations/Supply Chain functions.
• Basic understanding of project management methodology.
• Proficiency in MS office in general, and Excel in particular.
• Strong orientation to process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously; comfortable with ambiguous situations.
• High interpersonal and communication skills; Fluency in English (both spoken and written).
• Ability to work with multicultural teams with different geographical locations. 

Preferred Qualifications: (nice to have)

• Basic programming skills.
• Access Database knowledge (data modelling).
• Previous experience (e.g. internship) in Supply Chain or Operations.
