Regional Maintenance Manager - Barcelona / Madrid

To that end, Amazon is seeking a disruptive and groundbreaking thinker to provide strategic and tactical leadership over maintenance, repair and vendor management operations to support Global Specialty Fulfillment expansion across the European Union (EU) markets.

The successful candidate will be a highly experienced in facilities maintenance, workplace safety, data driven management leadership and supplier relationship management. A background in HVAC and refrigeration design, maintenance and repair along with MHE systems/applications, packaging automation, distribution processes and storage systems is a plus. The candidate must be a self-starter, possessing the ability to manage multiple complex projects and tasks simultaneously as well as be able to influence, and develop relationships at all organization levels. The candidate must be capable of overseeing the maintenance acceptance of part of commissioning large-scale, complex projects. Additionally, this individual will need to be adept at providing technical leadership and mentoring to facilities maintenance leadership and operations teams. Moreover, the individual will be deeply involved in the design review process for expansion projects across the European markets while providing guidance and professional recommendations on equipment standardization procurement to leverage scale, cost savings opportunities and to standardize maintenance activities as we continue to expand the business.

· BS in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline or BS/BA with good experience in maintenance
· Experience leading change in a multiple site environments
· Solid experience managing employees and their performance
· Ability to travel up to 50%

· Vendor Relation Management, specifically for commercial refrigeration applications in large distribution center
· Background implementing and managing Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs for commercial refrigeration systems and food processing equipment
· Deep understanding and knowledge of PdM, predictive tools/condition monitoring systems for electrical distribution, refrigeration equipment and/or food processing equipment
· Implementation of vendor based maintenance solutions to drive equipment reliability and uptime for commercial refrigeration systems and food processing equipment
· Experienced in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standard
· Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with high expectations
