The EU Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) Team is responsible for driving step-change improvements in the performance of Amazon’s European Operations from vendor through to customer. We work backwards from the customer and define new innovative solutions that raise the bar on customer experience and speed whilst constantly lower our cost of fulfillment and supporting our continued high growth.
This is a very exciting time to join the European ACES team under the leadership of a newly appointed EU Director. The team will work on the top strategic projects and opportunities across the European operations influencing business-critical decisions and taking the performance of the operations to the next level.
We are looking for exceptionally talented Business Analysts to be part of the core team within ACES. The roles will report into one of our ACES Managers. The Analysts will independently work on data requests, but sync up as a team to improve speed and quality of data deliverables. As a key team member you are executing the requests for data and think ahead which additional datapoints/metrics could help to understand and improve operational performance.
As an ACES Business Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
· Generating/extracting data from our BI databases to support dive deep activities of the project groups
· Checking and analyzing customer experience driven data
· Prioritizing, optimizing and delivering timely updates for metrics
· Automating reports and tools
· Graphically expressing data to allow easy access and understanding for a broad range of people
· Working closely with all Amazon departments (e.g. SC, VO, Operations, ICQA, Transportation,..) to identify waste and process deviation and align those issues to data
· You are an integral part of the Amazon project teams to deliver measurable impact
· Improving data sharing between Operations, Retail, CS und Transport
· Experience in an operational environment with proven ability to thoroughly understand processes, identify improvement opportunities, and drive change
· Experience in data driven process/error analysis
· Distinctive analytical and mathematical competence
· You are not only a data mining person, but are also able to explain data in line with process flow to other people/project managers
· You have good communication skills
· You have deep knowledge of how to read, change and write SQL code to extract information from various databases
· You are familiar with workbook automation via VBA in Excel
· You place a high value on the accuracy of your work, and diligently ensure the quality of your data
· You are fluent in English
· Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma tool set
· Project work experience
· Advanced Excel and SQL skills
· Beginner to intermediate scripting skills or willingness to learn (eg Python)
· Minitab/Jump/Tableau/SQL Workbench
