Our Credit professionals manage the exposure that comes with banking and financial services activities. It’s about getting credit policies, processes, systems, targets and strategies in place. And it’s about making sure they are heard, understood and followed. Along the way, our team analyzes and interprets financial status to evaluate risk and establish credit limits. They set policies and develop systems to control and monitor assets in terms of risk. Dedicated to continuous improvement, they constantly explore ways to improve credit processes. They always find the right balance between the need for control and the drive for high productivity.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provides analysis and interpretation of the customers’ financial condition for proper evaluation of risk and the establishment of proper credit limits.
  • Interacts with sales support, customers, underwriters and other Dell functions to support and maintain said accounts as well as prepares formal credit reviews/write-ups and renders credit applications on new and existing accounts.
  • Spreading and analyzing customer financial statements and the determination of the appropriate risk grades (PD/LGD) and ensuring that said credit limits, conditions of same, and risk grades are entered and maintained within the appropriate systems.
  • Monitors the existing portfolio and communicates credit concerns to management. Assists with the preparation and presentation of monthly reporting to management.
  • Provides support in terms of any ad hoc testing, reporting or training requirements which may arise and serve as key liaison with higher-level contacts within other departments, customers and third parties to obtain necessary credit information and documentation.
  • Exhibits strong adherence to functional policies and procedures and risk management standards.
  • Regularly briefs management on the status of assigned accounts as well as Identify and recommend process improvements for team.


Essential Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong financial analysis and credit underwritings skills.
  • Proficient English language skills and a sound level of industry knowledge.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Detail and results orientated as well as flexible and capable of working on multiple tasks/projects concurrently.
  • Intermediate to advanced Level of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and in writing.


Desirable Requirements

  • Degree preferably in economics/finance/business or other relevant discipline, and/or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of leasing products and services.
  • Experienced in fraud risk detection and prevention.
  • Experience of working in a regulated financial services environment. Strong understanding of banking regulation and lending policies and procedures.
