Our ultra-fast delivery service, Prime Now, is seeking a talented Business Manager to play a critical role to our content, merchandising and product strategy for our 3P Business (local stores offering their selection on Prime Now) . This is an unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting and groundbreaking new initiative at Amazon in its early stages.
In this role, you will be expected to enable 3P business growth and maximize revenue by helping launch new strategic partners and potentially expand existing ones into new geographies. You will be responsible for working with partners to develop and leverage tools for catalogue, pricing, and inventory setup, while raising the bar on the quality of product listings visible to customers. A significant part of your role will also be scoping internal and external tools to automate this process at scale.
In this position, you will be responsible for interfacing with selected partners as well as internal teams to deliver high-quality listings at massive scale in tight timelines. You should be comfortable in both an ambiguous self-sufficient role, as well as one of team support and interaction. To be successful in this role, you should have proven analytical capability, project management skills, and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a growing and fast moving business and you will be required to move quickly, pivot as needed, learn tools and processes and create new ones as needed.
Specific Responsibilities
• Drive process improvements including: optimize product catalog; work with the development teams to improve the current systems; audit and improve current business processes; work on key projects that focus on process automation; develop tools in Excel, Access, VBA, BI (SQL) to facilitate process improvement short term.
• Support Account Managers and Marketing teams with performance analysis to gain customer insights allowing to drive customer acquisition and engagement, always seeking ways to improve.
• Contribute ES Prime Now 3P strategy by identifying selection and growth opportunities, in close collaboration with Account Managers and partners (merchants)
• Report on weekly (WBR) and monthly (MBR) performance and progresses against roadmap
· 1+ year experience as product manager, consulting, business planning, business analyst in complex business environment
· Strong data management skills Excel; experience with SQL strongly desired.
· Strong time management and project management skills
· High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
· Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
· Superior verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in Spanish and English – written and spoken.
· Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up sleeves.
· Relentless customer focus.
· Engineer or double degree is a plus.
· Experience in data analysis – confident manipulating large sets of data (SQL knowledge a plus).
· E-commerce experience preferred.
