We are seeking a dynamic marketing manager to develop and execute the regional marketing plans for the Italy and Spain. This person will be responsible for the marketing operations in support of our managed service advertising team in Italy and Spain (IT/ES), working across product marketing, brand and events marketing, and training teams to provide a holistic plan in partnership with the IT/ES sales leadership team. This role will own the local content roadmap and support in-locale product go-to-market efforts. This person will validate local website, event, and content localization needs. This person will develop content for both the Italy and Spain teams, fully owning creation, review, approval, and adoption in the content release process. The Marketing Manager, IT/ES will mechanisms and stakeholder management in-locale, to ensure weekly and monthly reporting is complete and marketing deliverables are tracking against goals. The regional marketing manager will be responsible for diving deep into the specific needs of the IT/ES locales, understanding the customer segment and business needs, and marketplace dynamics. They will work with core marketing and training teams to build locale-based narratives and local sales strategies.
This is a complex role, requiring clear goal setting and prioritization, stakeholder management and communication. Day-to-day activities will change constantly as our business grows and this person can expect to establish programs that impact thousands of advertisers. Being flexible and comfortable with ambiguity will be required for success, as well as feeling comfortable setting prioritization and protecting against randomization against set priorities.
Specific functions are as follows:
· Develop the country-level annual marketing plans to drive adoption for new products, marketing content, and solutions through marketing and training channels
· Work cross-functionally with marketing and training teams, product, sales, insights and analysts, legal, and PR to deliver accurate positioning and storytelling of our products and solutions for ES/IT marketplace
· Continually raise the bar on development of compelling, data-driven storytelling with a customer focus
· Develop advertiser and agency playbooks, case studies, research and content programs for the IT/ES teams
· Own content localization and validate vendor translations of marketing content
· Execute against mechanisms and operating procedures within the regional marketing team
· Ability to identify local stakeholder needs, implement prioritization and drive alignment
· 5+ years’ experience in product marketing and/or brand and content marketing
· 2+ years in field or regional marketing
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to create compelling sales collateral and marketing material, and review and provide constructive feedback to improve content across the team
· Strong bias for data-driven decision-making and experience in distilling complex, analytically dense products into client-facing solutions
· Experience working cross-functionally across Sales, Product Management, Marketing, PR, Legal, and Research
· Analytical thinking shown to drive metrics and benchmarks to ensure continuous improvement in process and results
· Ability to prioritize effectively and focus on defined goals
· MS Office skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and experience with Salesforce.com
· Must be native fluent in Spanish and Italian, with business proficiency in English
· Proven skills in building strong team culture
· MBA
· Digital advertising and advertising technology experience
· SQL skills
